Can't be too disappointed

I entered three pieces into the RBSA Print Prize Exhibition recently. Unfortunately none were selected and although I was disappointed the rejection informed me that they have picked 92 pieces out of over 650 entries!! So rejected I may be, but in very good company. I look forward to seeing thre exhibition in about a months time I believe. This was one of my [pieces that I had hopes for. It is a monochrome Gum print of an image taken inside the living room of a postwar late 1940's prefab building located at the Avoncroft Museum. Pre-fabs were built en-masse after the war to solkve the housing shortage following years of bombing. Intended as a short term solution quite a few of them were only replaced late in the 20th century! This was made from 2 layers of gum, Lamp Black pigment.
