Another thing I stuck with through this summer of 'discontent' - see my earlier blog on Cyanotypes - I have also agreed to attend both days of an Artists Open Weekend at Newhampton Arts Centre in Wolverhampton on 13 & 14th October. I have been taking some images around Wolverhampton to produce work in readiness for this and here is one of them. As a West Bromwich supporter venturing anywhere near the Molineux (bandit country) is always difficult....not really...but I took some images of the statue of the late Billy Wright, arguably one of the most famous players to ever play for Wolves. I am really pleased how this came out, a Gum Print that has a nod to the famous Old Gold that Wolves play in. Got to get working on the other prints now, time is running out!!!
