Happy New Cyanotype!

Helloooooo.... and hope you had a good Christmas and are looking forward to 2022 with optimism and hope in our hearts...that is all we can do really!

The last couple of months have been filled with low mood, lack of mojo and...just because I felt I could do with hurting some more I disappeared down a rabbit hole of testing and calibration of my processes! Initially painful, I am still nowhere near being happy with the outcomes for the Gum Printing process. I am however happy with how it has worked for Cyanotypes, which to be honest is a much simpler process with far fewer variables than Gum. I had also seen other people toning using Yerba Mate tea with nice results, so that was something I had to do too. So, here it is, the first cyanotype print made using my new calibration process, and I am really pleased with it.
