I'm back (again!)
It's been a while hasn't it? I have been sorting out some personal stuff but also taking a bit of time to gather all the different thoughts and ideas in one place, so that I can keep them out of my head. Crikey I have got a lot of things I could be doing, and am going to have to learn to just try to take each one as it surfaces in my head and go with it. I should be out taking more photos as well, I have relied for a while now on my large collection of images, but need to get the impetus of creating images with a view to working on them. Anyway. I have produced two new gum prints recently, and this one is the first of them, shortly to be on show at The Art Yard, launch night Monday 25th November. This is an interpretation of an image I took at the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. It is a fabulous piece of architecture but I deliberately focussed on the people milling around looking, with just a hint of the surroundings on show. I hope you like it.
